MILO Coffee MBUs win in Lipa MDWT Contest

Milo-Coffee Production Mini Business Units (MBU) in Lipa dominated the MDWT Contests held recently at Lipa Factory.

SAGARAN, the MILO Process MBU, won the Best MBU Name title. (SAGARAN stands for Systematic Approach to Growth And Reliable Activities at Nestlé Lipa MILO Plant.) Balikatan, the MBU of Filling Lines C&D got the judges’ nod for its mission statement: “Pleasure, energy, nutrition, and value in every pouch of MILO.” Kapihan, the MBU of Coffee Filling, won the Best MBU Logo award.

Factory Manager Nes Mercado, Technical Training Head Caloy Jose, and guest Roslino Villamil of Competitive Dynamics International judged the contest.

MDWT Coaching Review in Lipa

Some 15 Mission-Directed Work Teams (MDWT) of Lipa Factory underwent Coaching Review on My 21-22. The review was conducted by Roslino Villamil of Competitive Dynamics International, who was joined by Technical Direcotr Campo Van Beek, Industrial Performance Head Philippe Chapet, and Technical Training Head Caloy Jose.

The activity was the first of its kind since MDWT was launched on the site. It was a learning process for all the teams who readily accepted the challenges of doing better.

 

MDWT Meeting Workshop at Lipa

A workshop on MDWT Meeting was held on June 5 at Lipa Learning Center to further enhance the skills of team leaders, assistant coaches, and members of mini-business units in conducting this eight-minute meeting.

Lea Lonzanida, John Fancubit, Mark Mitra, and Marlee Melancolico facilitated the workshop.
